Autism Awareness Month

I published a comic strip on Instagram sharing my experiences with Autism.

Inspiration to Write and Blog Again!

It was 2011 when I first started writing blogs. I honestly was not certain what I should write about, that is until I just started writing.

My first ever blog post featured the original concept of my webcomic character who was at first named Ken. I first did the drawing back in early to mid 2000s.

I learned to appreciate the journey of chronicling the adventures I had with people, sharing my interests that spanned from cartoons to tech to ministry, and sharing thoughts and ideas that might help somebody else.

It was messy. It was maybe even a little unorganized. But, it was so much fun!!! And it’s still fun.

When I started blogging, I spent a lot of time talking cartoons, comics, video games, art, and so forth. And that’s not to say that I won’t mention it elsewhere.

But now I’m actually looking to explore sharing my Faith experience as a Christian here. I’ve spent so much time worrying about how it would look, or how perfect it needed to be.

Now, I’m getting over that, and over myself.

A LOT has changed since I began blogging. I’m serving in a media ministry at a Dallas church. I’m married to a wonderful women who has shown me so much love and affection it has drawn me closer and closer to Jesus. I’m working for a college. And I’m still writing and drawing my comics. And I have begun doing advocacy for ADHD and Autism.

My wife and I are learning that it is easier to write together. So, I’m excited to give this shared writing time a try.

It must be working because I haven’t written a blog post in a very, very long time.
